About Us

We are a group of Grade 12 students from Valenzuela City School of Mathematics and Science who share a common goal: to make school life a little easier for everyone. As students, we’ve all experienced the stress and frustration of misplacing important items like IDs, wallets, tumblers, or even umbrellas. That shared experience inspired us to create ValMahanap, a web-based lost and found system designed specifically for our school community.

This project is more than just a requirement; it is a product of meticulous planning, collaboration, and problem-solving. We wanted to create a platform that is not only functional but also easy to use, so that anyone in the school community, including students, faculty members, and staff, can quickly report or search for lost belongings. Our system features a clean interface, item categorization, and a notification system (currently in development) that aims to improve how lost items are returned to their rightful owners.

ValMahanap reflects who we are as students—tech-savvy, problem-solvers, and passionate about helping others. We hope this project becomes a lasting tool that future students can continue to benefit from. Through this system, we aim to promote responsibility, honesty, and care within our school community.

Thank you for supporting our initiative!
